Anyone who proposes to do good must not expect people to roll stones out of his way, but must accept his lot calmly if they even roll a few more upon it. A strength which becomes clearer and stronger through its experience of such obstacles is the only strength that can conquer them.
Here at ASF, we help graduate student >Schweitzer Fellows to discover and develop that strength as they conceptualize and carry out yearlong service projects that address unmet health needs — and develop into lifelong Leaders in Service in the process.
At Beyond Boulders, we highlight their stories — and the stories of the community members they serve. We place those stories in the context of an overarching movement to achieve health equity, and we share news and resources of relevance to emerging and established professionals who are working to build healthier and more just communities.
