December 22, 2011 - The Season of Giving—and Giving Back

For Schweitzer Fellows, the season of giving is year-round. Whether they’re strengthening at-risk families by empowering low-income fathers (like Charles Daniels) or making the world a happier and healthier place for people with disabilities (like Tessa Yoder), our Schweitzer Fellows have spent 2011 making a difference.

As one homeless client, Isac, recently told Daniels, “I don’t have many friends and people who are there for me. You have been a big help to us. I didn’t have guidance as a child— but I am here doing it for my son, Isac Jr. I am being the father I never had.”
