Tori Campbell, Indiana University at South Bend School of Social Work
Campbell will work to promote healthy and nutritious eating for individuals on a limited budget in northern Indiana.

Darby Chodakowski, University of Indianapolis School of Psychological Sciences
Chodakowski will work to educate and empower youth at risk for developing Type II diabetes as a result of obesity.

Sarah Dilley, Indiana University School of Medicine
Dilley will implement a comprehensive maternal smoking cessation program.

Sashana Gordon, Indiana University School of Medicine
Gordon will work with area children to create a fun health and fitness resource that includes healthy recipes, access to web links, and fun workout sessions. She plans to integrate the 5-2-1-0 Healthy Kids Countdown, a health promotion initiative based on evidence-based messaging emphasizing healthy nutritional choices and behaviors.

Todd Hassee, Indiana University School of Law
Hassee will address the legal needs of low-income individuals by working to establish a medical-legal partnership [MLP] at the Indiana University Student Outreach Clinic, a free clinic that operates weekly on Saturdays.

Chelsea Kane, University of Indianapolis School of Psychological Sciences
Kane will work to increase the amount of leisure time students spend outside in enjoyable physical activity by implementing a program that includes weekly after-school group outings.

M. Tyler King and Manisha Patel, Indiana University School of Medicine
King and Patel will work to promote healthy behaviors by creating an annual 5K/10K-Run/Walk and Health Fair in collaboration with Indiana University School of Medicine Medical Student Council. They plan to integrate the 5-2-1-0 Healthy Kids Countdown, a health promotion initiative based on evidence-based messaging emphasizing healthy nutritional choices and behaviors.

Anne Nelson, Butler University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences
Nelson will work to initiate a medication therapy management (MTM) program that serves vulnerable patients at St. Vincent Hospital.

Casey Robertson, Indiana University School of Medicine
Robertson will work to empower vulnerable youth to pursue careers in the health sciences by providing students with workshops and mentoring related to health professional opportunities.

Sangeeta Sakaria, Indiana University School of Medicine
Sakaria will work to educate Latino adolescents on issues related to nutrition and healthy lifestyles. She plans to integrate the 5-2-1-0 Healthy Kids Countdown, a health promotion initiative based on evidence-based messaging emphasizing healthy nutritional choices and behaviors.

Sitjar and Viernes will work to improve the oral health of children in the Martindale-Brightwood community.

So will address the oral health needs of underserved Indianapolis residents by working to mprove oral health access and utilization of dental and preventive services.

Meredith Upchurch, Indiana University School of Social Work
Upchurch will work to extend the continuum of care offered to refugees in Indianapolis by assessing and addressing health-related needs of individuals who are at or near the end of their time-limited initial resettlement social and financial services.
