GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship (ASF) relies entirely on grants and
charitable contributions from people like you to fulfill our mission of
addressing health disparities by developing Leaders in Service.
Each year, nearly 250 of these Leaders in Service—the Schweitzer Fellows
your donation will support—follow in Dr. Albert Schweitzer’s footsteps,
committing themselves to creating and carrying out yearlong, high-impact
service projects that meet the health needs of underserved communities
across the U.S. They’re making a difference both here and in Africa
(where a number of Fellows serve each year at the Schweitzer Hospital in
Gabon, the region’s primary source of health care for nearly a
century).
When Schweitzer Fellows’ initial year ends, the difference they’re
making doesn’t: they carry their commitment to meeting the health needs
of underserved people forward as members of the Schweitzer Fellows for
Life alumni network, now more than 2,000 strong.
These Fellows
are Dr. Albert Schweitzer’s living legacy. Help them improve the health
of vulnerable communities with your tax-deductible donation.
