TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE!!!

A limited number of $100 and $200 travel scholarships will be awarded to current Fellows and Fellows for Life interested in attending the 5th Annual FFL Conference on October 28-29.  Scholarships of $200 will be designated for those traveling from locations with higher flight costs such as California, Louisiana, and Texas. 

Who: Current Fellows and Fellows for Life are eligible for a scholarship, however, priority will be given to Fellows for Life.

What: Scholarship funds may be used to reimburse Fellows for travel and/or accommodations.  They may not be used toward the registration fee.

When: The application deadline has passed.  Scholarship recipients will be notified by September 1.

Need additional funding for your travel and/or accommodations?  Here are some ideas that have helped Fellows and Fellows for Life in the past:

• Ask your employer, university, or department to sponsor your conference attendance as a professional development opportunity.
• Apply for a grant through a health professional society or organization.
• Share a room with another Fellow for Life.
