Some Facts about our Fellows for Life

The Fellows for Life Network includes more than 1,700 physicians, nurses, lawyers, public health specialists, social workers, pharmacists, occupational therapists, and others in health related fields. 

According to our nationwide survey of Fellows for Life:

• 60% maintained connections to the agencies where they worked as Schweitzer Fellows.

• 41% are currently engaged in volunteer service with underserved populations

• 55% believed the Fellowship influenced their professional development A lot, 39% said   Somewhat, and 2% stated Not at All.

• 51% stated their experience as a Schweitzer Fellow has influenced their personal development A lot, 42% stated Somewhat, and 2% said Not at All.
